Care Guidelines
Diet: Omnivorous with a heavy focus on plant matter. While they will graze on natural tank algae, they must be supplemented with high-quality algae wafers, sinking veggie pellets, and fresh blanched vegetables like zucchini, cucumber, or canned green beans.
Aquarium Decor: Real driftwood is essential for their health. They require the cellulose in driftwood to aid their digestion. They also love having plenty of dark caves, clay breeding pipes, and shady plant cover to rest in during the day.
Size Advantage: Unlike common plecos that outgrow most home tanks, the Green Dragon Bushynose maxes out at a very manageable size.
