Key Care & Features:
Behavior: A highly territorial, solitary ambush predator. They cruise diligently along vertical rock walls searching for small prey. Best kept individually or as a single established pair due to extreme conspecific aggression.
Diet: Strictly carnivorous and piscivorous. Feed them a high-protein diet consisting of frozen krill, mysis shrimp, chopped silver sides, and high-quality predator pellets.
Tank Requirements: Minimum 55–75 gallons for a single adult or pair. Provide plenty of heavy rock formations, deep caves, and a secure tight-fitting lid, as they are capable jumpers.
